John Dear climate change talk May 16

Father John Dear, a Jesuit priest, author and Nobel Peace prize nominee, will speak on his new book “They Will Inherit the Earth: Peace & Nonviolence in a Time of Climate Change” during an event at 7 p.m., Wednesday, May 16 at St. Michael Episcopal Church in Little Rock. 

The event will include discussion, reflection and book signing. He cites Jesus’ third beatitude as the basis for his meditation, “Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth.” The event is co-sponsored by Pax Christi Little Rock. For more information, email .
