St. Michael Church in Cherokee Village held a "Christmas-to-Go" party Dec. 19. Instead of canceling the in-person event, the parish hospitality committee, with creative help from parishioners Hughes Marinela, Pat Such and Lori Templet, came up with the idea of Christmas-to-Go. Parishioners reserved a Christmas meal and drove up to the parish hall door where Knights of Columbus Bernie Brandenburg and Michael Gagne handed out meals that had been prepackaged by a kitchen crew. Parishioners Jim and Ariela Wege delivered meals to shut-ins who reserved them.
