MSM students studying government over summer

Grace Carman, Mary Mayo and Ella Schafer, juniors at Mount St. Mary Academy in Little Rock, have been selected to attend the 79th session of Arkansas Girls State this summer based on their leadership, character, scholarship and participation in service. This year's session will be held May 29-June 3 at Harding University in Searcy.

Four other Mount St. Mary Academy juniors were chosen to attend Arkansas Governor's School July 5-Aug. 1 on the Arkansas Tech University campus in Russellville. They are Chloe Chandler, social science; Madeline Dalton and Caroline Dean, mathematics; and Lily Harrison, natural science. The four-week summer residential program for a select group of gifted and talented students from around the state.
