Bishop Taylor announces more pastoral appointments
Updates for House of Formation, Little Rock, Batesville, Newport, Jonesboro, Weiner

Bishop Anthony B. Taylor announced the following pastoral appointments:
Effective May 1
Rev. Mauricio Carrasco, appointed director of spiritual formation for the House of Formation in Little Rock (not prefect, as previously announced.
Rev. Daniel Velasco, relieved of the office of director of spiritual formation of the House of Formation. He remains pastor of Our Lady of the Holy Souls Church in Little Rock and director of the Diocesan School of Spiritual Direction.
Rev. Jeff Hebert, remains prefect of the House of Formation in Little Rock (contrary to the previous announcement), as well as diocesan vocations director.
Effective June 17
Rev. Jon Miskin remains pastor of St. Mary Church in Batesville and St. Cecilia Church in Newport (contrary to the previous announcement).
Rev. Alex Smith, appointed from administrator to pastor of St. John Newman University Parish and director of Catholic Campus Ministry in Jonesboro, and pastor of St. Anthony Church in Weiner (not pastor of St. Cecilia Church in Newport, as previously announced). He is relieved of his responsibilities as associate pastor of Blessed Sacrament Church in Jonesboro.
