Back on campus

Malea Hargett, editor of Arkansas Catholic, spoke to students in the School of Media and Journalism at Arkansas State University in Jonesboro March 18-19 at part of the Dr. Joel Gambill Alumni Speaker Series for the spring semester. Gambill was the department chair when Hargett was an ASU student. Hargett shared with journalism students how she was able to get her first job after graduation and provided tips on improving their writing and editing. While on campus, she met with The Herald staff, toured the school and was interviewed for a future segment for KASU radio.
