How did you hear your calling to become a deacon? Years ago, I felt the pull to do more, be more involved in my service to the church. Then, when the diaconate formation had the informational meeting, I felt as if God said “This is where you belong.”
What ministries are you currently involved in? I worked with our community food pantry. My job in Hospice DME enables me to see/visit patients and families as they prepare for death. I also enjoy bringing Communion to the sick.
Who have been the biggest influences in your diaconate formation? Deacons Bud Bryant and the late Robert Johnson, St. John Paul II
